I decided to set up a new network instead of reopening ToastyNetworks because the vision and goals of what I want to achieve with a Minecraft community are not aligned with the ones from Toasty. When running Toasty, I learned that what I liked doing most, interacting with the community and developing new features swiftly. I was unable to do with such a massive company and community to run, it just took up way to much time. Starting a new community also means that there are no expectations from anyone, I can set it up the way I have envisioned.
With Mystical Machines I plan to keep it small, this allows me to get to know most of the players and allows me to swiftly develop and add new features and changes.
Another reason why I did not think it would be a good idea to continue with ToastyNetworks is because of the legal aspects also caused by the Minecraft EULA.
